First let me apologize for the awful picture lol... we realized at 10 last night that we forgot to take the picture and I definitely wasn't about to change my clothes unless it was to get in to my PJ's lol... but anywhooooo! Hubby is off all this week, well not off but he'll be home all week for some training he has to do online. Right now we're just in the process of trying to get the house ready for the baby and for all the guests we're going to be having :) ... we bought a carpet scrubber yesterday on sale at big lots so now we'll be able to clean the carpets any time we need to; which is a BIG must with our two fur babies! AND today I finally got my door bell!! haha such a little thing to be excited about BUT I am! :D I have a doctors appointment tomorrow with the NP since my doctor is on vacation until Friday; fingers crossed she doesn't come while my doctor is gone! lol She has a replacement doctor for her but who wants to see some random doctor who you've never met before? not this girl! lol .. best part about the next week is that I get massages from hubby so we can "practice" our breathing techniques like the birthing instructor suggested ;) hehe.. Not too much longer! and I can't wait to be able to sleep in whatever position I want!

This last week has been a very busy one! We had another sonogram on Friday and everything looked great! Then Friday evening we had some pictures done by the amazing Brittany Anderson Photography; who happens to be an awesome friend as well!!! :) Then the four of us went out to dinner afterwards to buffalo wild wings; it was so much fun to finally get outta the house for once.  Then Saturday we had our birthing class at the hospital.  We learned SO much about what to expect and what to do when the time comes; now we just can't wait until then! After the class we took a tour of where we'll be the day we go into the hospital; YAY! We are so very excited that our baby girl will be here just in time for football season!!! :) she's going to be the cutest little steelers fan EVER!!!!!!!

HAPPY 4th of July Everyone!! It's been a very HOT week!! So I haven't done very much this past week, besides clean and do laundry.  Had an awesome weekend with the hubby just relaxing and getting last minute things done around the house.  We finished the nursery!!! :D YAY!! Now all we need is our baby girl!! Due date is only 25 more days away!! Getting closer and closer!!

Ok first let me apologize for my scrubby clothes in the picture lol... it's been extremely way too hot this past week and definitely was not feeling getting dressed up lol.. any wayyyy if you didn't notice in the picture I cut my hair!! :X  not too sure what I think/feel about it yet.. she cut 2.5 inches off!!! but it's still pony tail worthy so it works!! ESP in this heat! I dont know if it's because of the heat or because I'm pregnant but I feel like I've been having hot flashes lol... If you know me then you know that I hate to turn the AC down and I've been giving in and turning it down! that's how hot I've been! lol... But anywho!!

almost have her nursery completely finished!! still have a few things here and there I wanna get and hang up.  Target has these super cute butterfly things I want to hang up so I think we'll get those and hang them up soon. Have our diaper bag ready to go along with the boppy pillow and I've started my hospital bag so we're getting there.  We're just so ready for her to be here already! :)

We had another ultra sound last Wednesday because the doctor said I was measuring small.  She measured at 4lbs and 10oz!! So the technician actually said our due date is now August 6th based on her weight but we're still sticking with August 2 :) ... It's been August 2nd this whole time and at our week 20 ultra sound she was measuring perfect for Aug 2nd; SO... therefore we say she's a small baby and Aug 2nd it is lol :)... her heart rate was 163 nice and strong! She looks so much like Jerry already it's unbelievable what these 4D ultra sounds can show!  We're guessing she'll have a lot of dark hair with blue eyes just like her mommy and daddy! CANT WAIT!!

Baby Shower! & Week 33

Last weekend we went home to Ohio for our baby shower and our friends wedding :) It was SO nice to see all of our family and friends that we haven't been able to see in a very long time!  We hadn't been home since February, it was such a great weekend!  The shower was amazing! My mom, grandma and sister did such a great job putting it all together! :) We appreciate everything that they did and have done for us during this time.  We got so many great gifts and are SO thankful to have all of our family and friends support.  The food was great! And the cake was SUPER cute!! We did a ducky theme because that's what I requested after finding this "ducky" punch recipe off of good ol' Pinterest :). My mom and grandma were worried it wouldn't turn out good but everyone LOVED it; I'm so happy they did! :)

We got back from Ohio on Monday and I have been trying my best to get organized and get all these gifts put away.  After two days of non-stop laundry I've finally got all of her clothes washed and put away.  Hubby and I spent most of this past weekend going out and buying some of the few things we didn't get that we wanted and now all we have left to do is to finish putting all the bigger things together :) .. Most likely we'll do it today since it's father's day we're just sitting around relaxing for the day.  It's also our little fur baby's birthday today so we took the pups to the dog park this morning so they'll be passed out for the majority of today.  We love lazy Sunday's! lol

I'm tired so I'm going to keep this short and sweet today :)... This week went by fairly quick, and I hope that this next week does as well since all I want is to go home and see our family!  Jerry and I finally got rid of good for nothing T-Mobile and got on my parents Verizon account and neither one of us could be happier! We have service everywhere we go and we LOVE our new phones; thanks mom for letting us on your plan!! :) 

We had planned to get a pedicure together a few days before we left for Ohio but I couldn't wait any longer so we went today :) ... We're all ready for the baby shower now! Jerry's got his hair cut, I got my eyebrows done and we both got our pedicures and manicures :D SO ready to get home and see everyone!! So tomorrow and the rest of the week until we leave will involve getting us, the dogs, and everything else packed up and ready to go home on Thursday!!!!

This has been a very long week.  The weekend couldn't come soon enough because Jerry gets to have a 3 day weekend YAYY!  However, we don't have any specific plans.  Today we went and saw the Avengers in 3D, AWESOME movie by the way! And afterwards we were invited to Jerry's supervisors house.  His wife and  him just had a baby 9 months ago and they offered us a ton of baby gear! We are SO grateful for everything they gave us and couldn't be happier :) ... Only downfall of today is since we were gone all day we ate twice and now I feel like a giant panda LOL.

Some times it's nice to not have any set plans but it sucks not having any family or friends to hang out on these holiday weekends; especially in the summer time!  I love having cook outs! SO, Jerry and I will be cooking out tomorrow just the two of us and possibly taking the dogs to the park in the morning before it gets too hot and after I take my daily morning walk.  Yup! I'm still making myself walk almost every single morning! :D Helps me feel a little better, especially on those "fat" days like today LOL...

This was my first full week off since work ended last week.  Had a hard time keeping myself busy towards the end of the week.  My doctors appointment was Monday and they said that everything looks/sounds great! :) My appointments are now every two weeks so my next one will be next week. I'm still walking the dogs everyday YAY!! :) Some days it takes everything I have to get the energy to do anything because I'm not getting very much sleep lately.  I might start sleeping on the couch because it seems to help support my back better than that snoggle pillow in bed.  We'll see how that works out if I try it.  I'm in the process of trying to finish as many books as I can while I can.  I also want to try and finish crocheting this blanket that I started FOREVER ago! Fingers crossed I can get it all done in the next 2.5 months! :) 

I get to pick up are pictures this Thursday and although we didn't get very many I can't wait to get them and show everyone next week :) .... Looking forward to this next weekend because the hubby is going to have a 3.5 day weekend!! :D yayyy! We took the fur babies to the dog park today instead of taking them for a walk and they LOVED IT!!! I didn't feel like sitting around today even though I was so tired so we did some "window shopping" :).. I can't wait for our baby shower in 2.5 weeks!! It's so hard not go buy things for the baby and her nursery!! I'm so ready to get to work on her nursery!! :) Can't believe she'll be here in just 2 and half months!! :D

This was one of the best weeks ever! Last week my work informed me that Wednesday would be my last day; it was so bitter sweet.  I was excited to finally be done with that long a** commute of 1 hr and 15 mins one way; but also a little sad to be done 3 weeks before I expected to be.  However, it's been really nice to be home with my fur babies and my "nesting" stage has already begun.  I moved our old bedroom furniture into the guest room to make it ready for our new furniture that came on Friday; we absolutely LOVE IT!!! I have been walking the pups every day 2 to 4 miles a day and then working my butt off around the house so during the evening I am SO sore!  Thanks for my wonderful friend Bethany I'm going to start to stretch my legs so it's not so bad :) 

Saturday was my birthday and Jerry made me stay in bed while he brought me up my waffles and coffee :) and he bought me the movie "The Vow"; it was a cute movie.  We did our maternity pictures too!  I was worried it was too early to get them done and had NO idea what to wear; but they came out pretty good! :) We'll have them on May 24th and I'm going to buy cute picture frames to put them in and put them on the sign in table at the baby shower! :D... Then hubby preceded to take me out to dinner and it was so delicious!! He told the waitress it was my birthday and they came out singing with a hot fudge sundae lol .. It was such an amazing day! :) OH! I almost forgot! While I was getting ready he sneaked out to get gas (so he told me) and came home with flowers and ice cream cake!! :) He's the best husband I could ever ask for <3 

And that now leads us to today, Mother's Day, my first one as a "mom to be"! :D... Hubby again out did himself and made today another amazing day! He mad me stay in bed again and he brought me up my cereal lol... Took the pups for a walk then came home and got ready for the day... Then we spent the next four hours running around taking our time and just enjoying the day together :) ... I used the target gift card my wonderful sister gave me to buy a curling wand; I'm not one to spend hours getting ready and doing my hair but I think I'll like this thing.  THEN, the hubby dragged me into the motherhood maternity store finally and I found this great dress to wear to a friends wedding in 3 weeks! Can't wait to wear it and most importantly, I can't wait to see her! And lastly, I dragged him to famous footwear and got a pair of dr. scholls sandals for only 20$ with my birthday coupon! PHEW!! this really has been a busy weekend but it was the BEST weekend I could have ever imagined it to be!! I love you Jerry!! <3 and can't wait to meet our baby girl and see you become the best daddy ever! ;)
