This past week has been the SLOWEST week ever!!! And on top of that I haven't been sleeping well AT ALL!! If it's not my back it's my hip, if it's not either of those then it's bathroom breaks.  I know I know I have a long way to go.....

I have a doctors appointment on Monday and I'm looking forward to hearing our little girls heartbeat again :) . However, I am so not looking forward to seeing that number on the scale.  I feel like I've gained a lot more in this last month than I should have but I guess we shall see!... My parents are coming to visit this next weekend for Easter! I'm so excited for them to get here and see some of the things we've done to the house; especially for them to see the nursery!  Dad's going to help Jerry paint the nursery ceiling and cut down a few ugly trees! lol I can't wait to get these two trees down they're just in the way!  Mom and I are going to go looking/shopping for baby shower stuff and I'm going to show her some of the things we put on our registry! :) And possibly will be going to get a pedicure! Which is way over due!

Movement: Only feel her when I'm sitting down and mostly when I'm laying down at night :)

Weekly Wisdom: Don't stress too much about your weight; just enjoy being pregnant bc once it's over you really won't be able to eat those cravings you're having!  
Looking forward to: Parent's are coming in 2 weeks to help fix up a few things! :)

This past week was a lot of fun because we got to reveal to everyone we know that we were having a baby girl! :)  Jerry and I made "gender reveal" cakes to take to work with us since we couldn't do it with our family and friends.  Everyone loved having the cake and it was fun for us to see everyone's faces when they saw the pink icing in the middle of the cake. AND it was very yummy!

We've made our registries at Babies R Us and Target; mostly Babies R Us.  Target didn't have too much that we like unfortunately.  We bought a few curtains for the nursery and today we bought the crib bedding set to go with it! :) Jerry ended up surprising me the other day by buying us a coach baby bag!!! I can't believe he did that but I love it and can't wait for it to get here next week! However, I won't be allowed to open it until mothers day :( lol... We also purchased new closet doors for the nursery today because the current ones are metal and super loud when we open them.  Definitely do not want to wake the sleepy girl with loud closets!  We're going to work on our invites when my mom gets here in two weeks so we're all prepared to print them off and mail em out for when she gets here.

This week felt like it took forever for the weekend to get here and it's finally here and I'm ready to just enjoy it and relax!  It's rainy today and supposed to be tomorrow as well so we'll just be relaxing and doing a few things around the house at our own pace.  Rainy days make me tired and there's nothing better than laying on the couch with your hubby watching tv/movies on a rainy day :)

Week 20: IT'S A.....

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

After a very long work week, we finally got to find out today that we are having a baby girl!! Jerry says he'll be balding and going gray faster now! lol  We wanted to make the gender announcement fun and exciting for everyone and we wanted to include our first babies in it as well.  As you can see Winston is a typical boy and does not like to hold still or want his picture taken.  We put little pink bows in Nala's hair and she smiled for the camera as usual!  She gets groomed on Monday but unfortunately I couldn't wait that long to post this picture; especially since my whole family would kill me for waiting to tell them that long! 

Baby girl looks cute already and I can't wait to finally meet her in just another 20 weeks! We're HALF WAY THERE!!! Can you believe it!?!?  She's got a cute little button nose, and we think she's going to have Daddy's nose hehe... (I'll be posting some of the ultra sound pictures; either later today or in the next few days, we have to scan them first)... She weighed in at 11 ounces, 14.3 cm, and her heart rate was 152!  We think she's going to be tall too!! Her little legs were just moving and kicking like crazy; they were so long!  I hope she's not short like her mama lol!  I told the ultra sound technician that part of me can't wait to actually feel a kick, but that the other part of me is like "oh no! she's a big kicker!" 

Since we don't have any family or friends here to have one of those sweet gender reveal parties, Jerry and I are going to be baking this weekend to take a gender cake to our co-workers.  Just gives me an excuse to bake and not have to eat it all! lol I love baking and I'm excited for everyone to start finding out what we're having; now everyone can stop guessing! :)

Sleep: lately not so much, too much on my mind and can't get comfy
Best moment this week: hearing the baby's heartbeat again :)

We had our monthly doctor visit this past week.  Took the nurse a while to find the heartbeat, I guess our little one is already being a handful because he/she wouldn't hold still for the nurse to hear them.  We will be finding out the sex of our baby sometime next week; but I won't tell you when!! ;)  We're pretty excited to finally know so we can start coordinating the nursery :)... 


We found a SHARK vacuum on clearance today at Target; supposed to great for dog owners, I sure hope so because it's going to be getting a lot of use out of it!  We also bought our pups a new dog crate today, so now instead of them having their own they'll be able to share one big crate and we'll be able to save a lot more room in our den! WIN WIN! 


The hubby painted the bathroom last weekend.  Bought new bath mats for it today, but still haven't found curtains we both like.  It looks great though regardless!  Need to clean it up a little still and hang a few things but it looks awesome!  We rearranged part of the den a.k.a. the dog room lol and it looks so much bigger and bigger!! Can't wait to get the new crate so we can get rid of the two in there and have even more room! woohoo!!


Anyway, it's supposed to be nice tomorrow so we'll probably be taking our pups to the dog park and getting some things done around the house! Don't forget we lose an hour of sleep tonight, so move your clocks forward!

Not much has happened in this last week.  The hubby finally painted our half bath today, and I LOVE it!! Can't wait until the paint dries so I can hang up a some of the decorations :)... We are 18 weeks and 4 days and everyone keeps asking what we're having and I can't wait to actually give them an answer!! Not sure when that'll be but I can't wait!! We have our monthly check up tomorrow and I cant wait to go listen to our little shrimps heart beat again! :) 


We got our doddle bear groomed yesterday and now she smells so good and is SO fluffy!! I LOVE IT!! She's my cuddle buddy as of right now! :) Keeps me so nice and warm. I love our fur babies!


Well hopefully the next post will be an update of the gender of our little shrimp!! Can't wait to start shopping!!
