The Wednesday before Christmas, December 21, 2011, we had our first sonogram. I didn't really know what to say or think when we say our little baby, but Jerry and I gave it the nickname of Little Shrimp : ). It's heart rate was 166, nice and strong! : ) This just so happened to be the same day we were leaving Maryland to go home for Christmas, so we thought it would be a great present to show everyone once we got home.
The doctor informed us that our next sonogram wouldn't be until week 20, so we have six more weeks to go and I can't wait to finally see our lil shrimp again and to finally see if "it" is a boy or a girl!!! Our next regular appointment is coming up on Monday and we both get excited to go see how the baby is doing. We're going to try and do weekly updates from here on out and post updates of the "bump".
